enables users to quickly and easily evaluate part and process feasibility as well as determine blank shape and spring back for sheet metal components. It identifies formability problems (splits/wrinkles) enabling users to implement design changes earlier in the product life cycle, saving time and money.
FORMINGSUITE PROFESSIONAL
enables users in all departments from costing, to design to the shop floor to quickly and easily evaluate part and process feasibility as well as spring back for sheet metal stamped components. Product Design identifies formability problems enabling engineering changes to be made earlier in the product life cycle, saving time and money.
COSTOPTIMIZER ADVANCED
combines the power of FTI’s premier formability analysis, blank development, and blank nesting tools with specialized product and process optimization tools that help identify design changes that reduce material costs while significantly reducing the number of engineering design changes caused by formability issues.
FORMING SUITE SCULPTURED DIE FACE
enables cost engineers to quickly create and morph die face designs to accurately capture the true metal forming process. Drawn components require extra material (die face) to allow the required metal flow. In just a few minutes, SCULPTURED DIE FACE quickly and easily creates hundreds of surfaces to represent the first form draw and thus provides more accurate blank shapes for drawn panels.
